It is for general that the government of Assam, in provision of Section 23 of the RTE Act - 2009 and in the view of order of Hon'ble Gauhati High Court in WP(C) No 2280/2018 has decided to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) - 2019 for the Lower Primary and Upper Primary level for the state of Assam as per the guidelines laid down by NCTE and thereby online applications are invited from 02.09.2019 to 17.09.2019 from the candidates having permanent residence in the state of Assam who intends to appear in TET.
The intending candidates of Lower Level will have to appear in Paper-I of TET
The intending candidates of Upper Primary Level will have to appear in Paper-II of TET.

The tentative date of examination (TET) is on 20.10.2019
